Turning 40 with good friends.

My husband is throwing my 40th birthday party friday night. I bought several bottles of Project Happiness wine to give to my guests. I put a sticker above the smiley that says "Happiness is..." and below the smiley that says "Having good friends at 40" :)

to me, it is that feeling i get right before i paint on a new canvas, the sound of my daughter when she is sleeping so sound after playing so hard, the buzzing vibration all over my body when i know i'm about to hear my man's voice in my ear, the fulfilled feeling i get after i hear his voice, green grass:), purple wave petunias, high seas, summer tans, the sound of snow falling, the feeling of sand in-between my toes, a satisfied feeling that I get when i complete my artwork and now this bottle of wine.

Reading these comments while we are
savoring that soft quiet day in January after the holiday craziness, after the letting go of well-meant, New Year's resolutions, and before the first twitch of the dog-tooth violet. That's happiness. And even greater happiness is doing it with the people you love.

my recomendation to your winery is to make your smileyface labels peelabl;e (meaning you can take them off like a sticker and re-stick them anywhere) and add your name to the bottom of it. Personanl;y I would stick them all over the house and one on each card. love it!

Unknown said...

I enjoyed my first bottle of the chardonnay. I read the label and exultingly spoke, "the 80's make me happy."
